Golden Age

Human civilization rebounded very quickly after the death of the Brim in the Brim War, largely due to the extensive system of roads and bridges the Brim left behind, and all the land they had cleared for their human slaves to farm. And thanks to the pallor, men and women now have equal power and representation in this Golden Age. Wars were much rarer than in the Age of Man. It is commonly believed that the world was somewhat colder in the Age of Man, and that the Brim did something to warm it up. The improved crops and farmlands that the Brim introduced, along with boosts in fish and game, have helped ensure the health and longevity of humans well past what could have been achieved in the Age of Man.
